About the Class:
Kevin McDonald (Kids in the Hall) leads this four-hour workshop where you'll bring a one line premise to the writing table (such as "what if a guy was $10 short of being a millionaire?") and work with Kevin and your classmates to develop it into a fully fleshed out sketch.
Everyone should come prepared with an original one-line premise.
Kevin McDonald
Kevin McDonald is a comedian, actor, writer, and director, and is best known as one of the founding members of the iconic comedy troupe “The Kids in the Hall,” which he started with Dave Foley after they met at Toronto’s Second City. In 2006, Kevin hosted Sketch with Kevin McDonald on CBC, which won a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Taped Live Performance. Most recently, he and the rest of “The Kids in the Hall” revived their sketch show for a new season on Amazon Prime.
