About the Class:
Elevate your improvisation skills to the next level with our intermediate 8-week improv course! Learn essential techniques to build your toolbox and become "team-ready". Through focused exercises, you'll learn specific ways to initiate the "who, what, where" of a scene, convert abstract suggestions into compelling realities, and heighten scenes using varied editing techniques. Explore emotional perspectives, engaging monologues, and dynamic group scenes. Whether you're ready for the stage or seeking to expand your creative arsenal, this course provides practical tools to transform your improv game.
One of the requirements for this class will be attending the Student Showcase on Saturday, August 1st, Time TBD.

Mary Sullivent
Mary began her improv journey in 2017 with the Rollins Improv Players in Orlando, FL, where she performed weekly, coached short form teams, and taught workshops. She later performed and coached long form improv in the Tampa Bay area before moving to Albuquerque in 2024. She was thrilled to join the cast of The Show in 2025 & begin teaching classes in 2026. She is a certified improv geek who loves to help grown-ups remember how to play pretend. She believes that if everyone on earth took an improv class, we could probably achieve world peace. When she’s not improvising, she likes to sing, crochet, go on walks, and watch weird movies with her husband Trey.
