About the Class:
Acting for Improvisers is a course designed to help performers ground their improv in what a character wants while strengthening core performance fundamentals. Participants will practice staying present, building rich base realities, and making choices that feel lived-in and fun to play. Whether you’re coming from improv training or you have a mix of improvisational and scripted acting experience, this class offers tools to bridge the two worlds. Participants will leave with tools to create characters and worlds that are both fun to inhabit and compelling to watch.
In order to take Acting for Improvisers you must have completed Improv 2: Love and Authenticity or have commensurate experience.
One of the requirements for this class will be attending the Student Showcase on Saturday, February 28th at 4pm.

Danielle Simone
Danielle Simone has been a performer in ABQ for almost 20 years and works closely with Duke City Repertory Theatre and High Desert Playback. She became a fan of the Show many years ago and was stoked to join the cast in December 2022.
