About the Class:
Ready to go beyond a montage? In this course, we’ll dive deep into a variety of long form improv structures—from classics like the Monoscene and La Ronde to more experimental and genre-based formats. Over the course of the class, we’ll explore several formats and critique how each structure can elevate your storytelling, characters, and group mind.
As the class progresses, you’ll have the chance to workshop original formats as a group, blending techniques you’ve learned with your own creative instincts. Whether you’re drawn to cinematic narratives, fast-paced tag runs, or grounded character studies, this class is designed to inspire innovation and collaboration.
One of the requirements for this class will be attending the Student Showcase on Saturday, August 2nd.
Participating in the Student Showcase is REQUIRED for this class
