Meet The Cast

Rebekah Wiggins is a fifth generation New Mexican who was raised in Roswell, New Mexico. She comes from a long lineage of successful, working artists. In 2006 she moved to Albuquerque to pursue a career in acting. Since then she has been cast in films such as Sunshine Cleaning, Swing Vote, Brother's, Let Me In, Fright Night, and Ten Year. In 2008 she started a production company with Hannah Macpherson (Heatstroke Productions) and the two began producing a web series titled "Date Doctor"(www.datedoctortv.com) followed by a series of award winning short films ("Down the Road", "Static", "The Farm", & "Drain"). Rebekah has been doing improv since 2006 with Starving Horse and is currently a proud member of The Show here at The Box Performance Space and Improv Theatre.

Melissa Heiman is a local actor and performer. She performs with Chain of Fools, a short-form comedy improv troupe. She has a background in classical piano and jazz dance. Lived abroad for college, studying international journalism and French, and is currently a freelance writer and editor with emphasis in the film industry. When not performing, she fills her time with boxing, endless movie-watching and obsessing over wine and great food. Melissa thanks her friends for their constant support and especially her mother for always encouraging her, even through the riskiest of decisions.

Patrick Gozur is currently a full time student at UNM. He is fairly new to the Albuquerque improv scene. When he is not doing improvisational comedy, Patrick performs stand up and is in the sketch comedy group aptly named Comedy? He feels extremely fortunate to be performing alongside such talented improvisers who make him look good. He would like to thank his friends and family for all of their love and support.

Kathleen Fontaine has a background in all things expressive [standup, sketch, improv, installation art and found object sculpture]. She began her studies in Communications Media at Simmons College in Boston and continued her education studying Performance/Video at the California College of the Arts in Oakland. Fontaine went on to star in the independent feature, Some Prefer Cake. She also wrote, produced and starred with the sketch comedy troupe Nude Coffee, playing venues throughout the United States and Europe, most notably Edinburgh's International Fringe Festival. Fontaine's first-ever one person show LEARNING TO STAY, earned her a fellowship with The Global Center for Cultural Entrepreneurship. Alex Knight is a member of Tricklock Company, his work with the company includes Belladonna, Cymbeline, Lullabies for My Father, Knit, Nasze Miasto and Catgut Strung Violin (winner of Best Original Work at the Ottawa Fringe Festival). Alex has been performing improv theater in Albuquerque for years and works with multiple groups including The One Night Stanley's (Winner Best Comedy Group by The Weekly Alibi). He has also appeared on film and TV, last summer Alex played Officer Potts in the ABC show Scoundrels

Devin Antonelli has been performing improv for fourteen years. He spent time in seminal Albuquerque improv troop Surely You Jest and as a member of Gorilla Tango's ensemble. He studied at Chicago's IO theatre and has been involved in various other projects such as improv groups in Denver and Chicago as well as local film "The Incredible Voyage of Captain Hook".

Kara Clem is thrilled and honored to be part of "The Show". From Santa Fe, she attended Sarah Lawrence College in NY and earned her degree in Theater and Italian. She has performed in numerous plays in Italy, New Mexico, New York and Chicago. Kara has trained at The Second City in Chicago's adult immerision program and Northwestern University's summer theater conservatory. She was part of the Teatro Imparco in Florence, Italy, performing only in Italian. Kara has appeared in both television and film and would like to thank her family for their love and support, especially Miles.

Seymour Muchmore is an actor/musician and writer. He's been working with improv comedy since the 1970s and has improvised in Denver, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and San Francisco. He held a Guinness World Record in the 1980s and opened for Spinal Tap with his comedy/rock band, Seymour Muchmore and the Muchmorons. He was a contestant on "The Weakest Link" and worked as a professional wrestling referee/announcer. He's thrilled to be working at The Box!

Will Toledo is a part of several other local improv teams in Albuquerque, including Nobody's Stranger and Chain of Fools. He has been in involved in the Albuquerque improv and acting community for two years now. When he is not doing improv performances, Will teaches fourth grade. He would like to thank his friends, family, co-workers, and students for their support and inspiration.
